SENATOR YAYI RALLIES APC STAKEHOLDERS, LABOUR FOR UNITY, INCLUSIVENESS AND GRASSROOTS MOBILIZATION
The Ogun State APC Governorship Candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI), CON, has intensified consultations across key political and socio-economic groups, reaffirming his commitment to unity, inclusiveness, grassroots-driven politics, and people-centered governance ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
During separate strategic engagements with APC stakeholders from Ijebu North, Ijebu North East, and Ogun Waterside Local Government Areas, as well as leaders of Organized Labour in Ogun State, Senator YAYI emphasized that no stakeholder would be excluded from the political process, stressing that the success of the APC depends on collective participation, reconciliation, and grassroots mobilization.
The senator unveiled a ward-focused political strategy tagged “Operation Deliver Your Ward,” aimed at strengthening mobilization at ward and polling unit levels, noting that elections are won at the grassroots rather than at local government headquarters. He assured party leaders that resources for political activities would be directed to ward structures to enhance transparency, accountability, and effective voter engagement.

Addressing concerns in Ogun Waterside, Senator YAYI pledged immediate intervention in the area’s long-standing electricity challenge, announcing that technical assessments would commence within 24 hours as a precursor to resolving the estimated ₦750 million project.
He also reiterated his commitment to an open-door administration, declaring that his governorship would be for all Ogun State residents regardless of political affiliation, while warning against divisive tendencies capable of weakening the party’s structure.
In a separate engagement with leaders of Organized Labour, Senator YAYI assured workers of improved welfare, pension administration, employment opportunities, industrial harmony, and greater collaboration between government and labour unions. He pledged to prioritize policies that enhance workers’ wellbeing while leveraging Ogun State’s economic potential to boost revenue generation, attract investments, and create sustainable jobs.
Stakeholders and labour leaders at the meetings commended Senator YAYI’s leadership style, developmental interventions, and inclusive approach, pledging their support for his governorship aspiration and the continued success of the APC in Ogun State.
The engagements form part of Senator YAYI’s ongoing statewide consultations aimed at consolidating party unity, strengthening grassroots structures, and advancing his vision of inclusive governance under the “Itesiwaju Agenda.”
