Stakeholders Rally Behind Hon. Engr. Azubuike Emmanuel Umeadi as Credible Contender for Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency Seat in 2027
Strong political momentum is building across Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency as critical stakeholders, community leaders, youth groups, women associations, professionals, and progressive political blocs have begun rallying support for Hon. Engr. Azubuike Emmanuel Umeadi as the most credible and competent candidate to represent the constituency at the Federal House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
This position was made known in a press statement issued by the Convener of Concerned Stakeholders for Good Governance and Progressive Representation, Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, Mr. Adesiyan Adebola, who described Umeadi as a tested leader with the capacity, vision, and grassroots connection needed to deliver purposeful representation under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), with anticipated support from a broad coalition of progressive political interests.
According to the statement, Hon. Umeadi’s emergence is anchored on his longstanding commitment to the development of Amuwo Odofin, recalling that his earlier expression of interest during the 2023 general elections generated significant enthusiasm among constituents who viewed him as a refreshing alternative driven by competence and innovation.
The stakeholders noted that although circumstances denied the constituency the opportunity to benefit from his leadership at the time, the 2027 elections present another chance to align Amuwo Odofin with visionary representation.
Described as a prolific serial entrepreneur, Umeadi has built an impressive business empire with investments spanning oil and gas, hospitality, finance, furniture production, and building construction, creating jobs and empowering many within and beyond the constituency.
The statement further emphasized that his rare blend of private sector excellence and passion for public service places him in a strong position to champion infrastructure development, youth empowerment, economic expansion, and social welfare initiatives.
The group therefore called on ADC leaders and progressive stakeholders across party lines to unite behind Hon. Engr. Azubuike Emmanuel Umeadi, describing him as the bridge between the aspirations of the people and the quality representation Amuwo Odofin deserves.
