Hon. Abimbola Osikoya, popularly known as ABOSCO, has officially thrown her hat into the ring, declaring her ambition to represent Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly in 2027. At a glittering ceremony, ABOSCO outlined her vision for the constituency, promising effective legislation, inclusive governance, and accountable representation.
With a strong focus on empowering women, youth, and vulnerable citizens, ABOSCO unveiled her 6-Point Legislative Agenda, which includes building economic opportunities, promoting social welfare, and optimizing urban maintenance. Her agenda is built on her leadership experience and a commitment to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Supporters poured in to back ABOSCO’s bid, with APC Ojodu LCDA’s Apex Leader, High Chief Kehinde Omolabi, praising her for breaking barriers. “It’s time for women to participate in politics and be part of decision-making,” he said. Hon. Adetoro Adebowale urged party members to maintain peace and unity, while Hon. Olusola Kokumo encouraged everyone to work towards Tinubu’s re-election and support ABOSCO’s candidacy.

She commended a female aspirant seeking to represent Ikeja Constituency 2, encouraging party members to support her bid and maintain peace within the constituency. Kokumo urged members to focus on securing Tinubu’s re-election, emphasizing the importance of avoiding violence and respecting individual aspirations. She called on everyone to double their efforts, quoting the biblical principle that “it is only God who promotes.”
