ICMP-PBAT 2027 Mobilizes Grassroots Media, Backs New APC Leadership
The Independent Community Media Practitioners for PBAT 2027 (ICMP-PBAT 2027) has formally declared its nationwide grassroots media mobilization strategy in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,GCFR ahead of the 2027 general elections, while also congratulating the newly inaugurated National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement issued by its National Coordinator, Amb. Kingsley Enwelim Nwanze, the group commended the emergence of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda as the party’s National Chairman following the APC National Convention.
The coalition described his leadership as timely and strategic for consolidating party unity and strengthening its national outlook.
The group also applauded Barr. Felix Morka on his election as National Publicity Secretary, noting that his role would be instrumental in shaping public perception, reinforcing party messaging, and communicating the achievements of the current administration.
ICMP-PBAT 2027, a coalition of grassroots and community media practitioners, emphasized its readiness to deploy its extensive communication networks across local communities to promote the policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration. The group highlighted the importance of grassroots engagement, public enlightenment, and localized communication in deepening democratic participation and strengthening national cohesion.
According to the statement, the Renewed Hope Agenda requires not only policy execution but also effective communication strategies that resonate with citizens at the community level. The coalition affirmed its commitment to ensuring that government initiatives in economic reform, infrastructure development, and national unity are clearly understood and embraced by Nigerians across all wards and constituencies.
Reiterating its support for the APC leadership, ICMP-PBAT 2027 pledged a strategic partnership aimed at building a people-centered narrative that reflects the aspirations of Nigerians, while working collectively to sustain democratic progress and national development.
