Kidnap, Crypto & Luxury: Russian Millionaire Roman Novak and Wife Found Dismembered After Dubai “Investor” Meet
A Russian cryptocurrency millionaire, Roman Novak, 38, and his wife Anna Novak, were reportedly kidnapped and later found dismembered after they were lured to a meeting with people they believed to be investors in the United Arab Emirates.
The couple, who frequently displayed a lavish lifestyle of fast cars and private jets on social media, were last seen a month ago when they drove to a meeting in Dubai’s Hatta mountain resort.
According to statements from law‑enforcement sources cited by media reports, the pair were allegedly extorted for cryptocurrency.
Shortly before they disappeared, Novak had acquired a highly collectible elite British AC Cobra. It is believed that a personal driver took them to a car park by a lake, after which they transferred to another vehicle.
Novak reportedly messaged contacts saying he was “stuck in the mountains on the Oman border” and urgently needed £152,000. After that message, contact with the couple was lost, said Svetlana Petrenko of the Russian Investigative Committee.
The circumstances remain under investigation, and no convictions have been reported in connection with the alleged kidnapping and dismemberment.
