My Personal Experience
About two years ago, I had a shocking encounter at a store in Fagba. I had gone to purchase bread, a routine transaction that I didn’t think twice about. I opted to use my ATM card for the payment, unaware of the events that would unfold.
The Unscrupulous Act
The cashier, whose name I choose not to mention, processed my transaction. However, in a deceitful move, she withdrew twice the amount I was supposed to pay. I was oblivious to this fact, and she likely assumed I wouldn’t notice the discrepancy before it was too late.
A Lucky Escape
Fortunately, I received an alert on my phone as soon as I got into my car. It was then that I discovered the error and realized I had been duped. I immediately returned to the store, where the cashier apologized profusely.
A Valuable Lesson
This experience taught me a valuable lesson: always be vigilant when conducting transactions, especially when using your ATM card. Double-check the amount being withdrawn, and ensure you receive the correct change. A moment of distraction can lead to significant financial losses.
A Warning to Others
I share this story as a cautionary tale, reminding everyone to remain alert and attentive when interacting with cashiers. Don’t assume that errors won’t happen or that you won’t be targeted. Stay vigilant, and always verify the details of your transactions.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it
to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
