ENGR KEHINDE ALUSI EMERGES AS LABOUR PARTY CANDIDATE FOR THE FEBRUARY 3RD 2024 BYE ELECTION IN SURULERE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY 1

The forthcoming bye election slated for February 3rd 2024 to fill the vacant Federal House of Representatives seat in Surulere Federal Constituency 1 vacated by Femi Gbajabiamila has necessitated political parties to conduct fresh primaries in nominating their candidates. This exercise by Independent National Electoral Commission will be conducted across the country to fill all the vacant House of Representatives and Senatorial seats.

The Labour Party on Friday 5th December 2024 held a primary election to determine its candidate for Surulere Federal Constituency 1, where Engr. Alusi Kehinde emerged as the winner.

Engr. Alusi Kehinde was unanimously elected by delegates of the Labour Party as their Candidate for Surulere Federal Constituency 1. Prior to the primary election, the party had appointed a four man Committee to conduct the primary election, and they are, Osho Segun, Azubuike Peter, Com. Damilare Emmanuel and Com. Richard A. Oliseyenum, with representatives of the National Working Committee of the Party led by its National Publicity Secretary, Dr Abayomi Arabambi.

The primary election was also witnessed by representatives from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Security agencies and the media. The newly elected candidate, Engr. Alusi Nwanne Kehinde is an undiluted home grown in Surulere Federal Constituency where he had his primary education at Fountain Nursery and Primary school.

Engr. Kehinde is a successful Real Estate Entrepreneur and he has successfully developed different estates within the lagos and ogun state axis. In his quest to contribute to national development and positively rewrite the narrative for a people focused development program, he joined the 3″ force movement that formally fuse into the Labour Party (LP) to help give birth to a new Nigeria.

There is no gainsaying that the Labour Party after the last general elections has catalyzed political awareness in Nigeria more importantly encouraging the electorates to actively take part in the electoral process.

Engr. Kehinde Alusi is prepared to positively amplify legislative representation in Surulere Federal Constituency 1 through his Six points agenda and they are; Sponsorship of people-centered motions and enactment of bills, Human Capital Development Programs,

Educational Support Programs, Entrepreneurship Support Programs,, Infrastructural Development,Healthcare and Sports.

It is indeed a new dawn in Surulere Federal Constituency 1 propelled by creative thinking and innovative strategies.
