Following the accusations, counter accusations and protests emanating from the Celestial Church of Christ, Army Barracks Parish, Mokola, Ibadan, Oyo State, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa, Pastor and Supreme Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, has appealed to all parties involved to remain calm and allow peace to reign as the matter is receiving urgent attention at the highest level of the church administration.

Having met with the Shepherd in Charge of the parish, Venerable Superior Evangelist Noah Ikumehinlo, representatives of the youths and the parochial committee, as well as representatives of the Adekanbi Family, at the Pastoral Residence in Lagos, His Eminence wishes to assure the global membership of the Celestial Church of Christ that the matter is receiving his personal and prompt attention, with a strong promise that equity and fairness would be delivered on the contentious matter.

Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa also made it known that the Celestial Church of Christ, Army Barracks Parish, Mokola, Ibadan, Oyo State, is an ‘A’ class parish of the C.C.C. with an admirable history that the church administration is very proud of. “This matter therefore cannot be treated with levity as the parish is very dear to our heart, ” He stressed.

Making a passionate appeal to the youths of the parish, His Eminence assured that equity and fairness would be served in this matter. He called on them to allow peace to reign in the parish as the matter is being treated with the urgency it deserves and a fair verdict would be delivered promptly.
