The Mayoress of Ikosi-isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, hosts various media organizations, stakeholders, partners and dignitaries in Senator Adebayo Osinowo hall, Ikosi-isheri LCDA Secretariat.

She described the conference as an opportunity to inform the populace of the plans ahead and what to expect at the upcoming 2022 edition of Ikosi-isheri ketu magodo annual Cultural Carnival.

She also described the 2-days event, slated for 30th September and 1st October 2022, which serves as a better opportunity to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day.

This second edition would feature various activities such as music, dance, awards, pageantry, carnival floats and cultural events.

She reels out in her speech some of the accomplishments over the years through her tenacious efforts to make Ikosi-isheri Ketu a greater haven for everyone. “I am sure the memories of the first edition of the cultural festival is still fresh in our heads; this second edition will be loaded with outstanding creative performers on their various fields of display such as Fuji Maestro – Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, Sir Shina Peters, Obesere Omorapala, Pasuma, Saheed Balogun, Koffi, QDot, Bella Shmurda, OT, SATO dancers (from Badagry), Olaijo Art & Gallery (Ibadan), Ewi and several others.
