CELCE-AFRICA APPOINTS MR. AKINDUTIRE PRECIOUS ADEYEMI AS DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC POLICY AND GOVERNANCE
The Centre for Leadership and Creative Entrepreneurs in Africa LTD/GTE (CELCE-AFRICA) has formally appointed and inducted Mr. Akindutire Precious Adeyemi as the Director of Public Policy and Governance on the Advisory Board of the organization.
The appointment and induction ceremony was conducted by the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of CELCE-AFRICA, Amb. Kingsley Enwelim Nwanze, on Friday, June 12, 2026, as part of the Centre’s commitment to strengthening its policy advocacy, governance engagement, and leadership development initiatives across Africa.
Speaking during the induction, Amb. Nwanze described Mr. Adeyemi as a passionate development advocate whose expertise, professionalism, and dedication to public service would significantly enhance the Centre’s efforts in promoting good governance, public accountability, policy innovation, and citizen participation.
According to the Executive Director, the appointment reflects CELCE-AFRICA’s strategic vision of engaging competent and experienced professionals in advancing its mission of building transformative leaders, fostering entrepreneurship, and championing sustainable development across communities in Nigeria and Africa.
In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Akindutire Precious Adeyemi expressed profound appreciation to the leadership of CELCE-AFRICA for the confidence reposed in him. He pledged to deploy his knowledge, experience, and professional networks towards advancing the Centre’s policy objectives and governance-focused programs.
As Director of Public Policy and Governance, Mr. Adeyemi will provide strategic guidance on public policy matters, governance reforms, institutional partnerships, advocacy campaigns, and stakeholder engagement initiatives aimed at promoting inclusive development and responsible leadership.
