HON ADEDAMOLA RICHARD KASUNMU LAUDS THE GAINS OF THE RENEWED HOPE AGENDA AT THE 10TH IKEJA STATE CONSTITUENCY 11 STAKEHOLDERS MEETING

The Eko FM Marquee, LTV B Compound, Agidingbi, IKEJA Lagos was parked to the brim as elated stakeholders of IKEJA STATE CONSTITUENCY 11 tripped into it confines to attend the 10th CONSTITUENCY Stakeholders Meeting with the theme: Governance In Action, The Gains Of The Renewed Hope Agenda hosted by their Lagos State Assembly representative and Deputy Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamila Richard Kasunmu on thursday the 4th September 2025.
As early as 8:30 am, CONSTITUENTS who started trooping into the venue were excited to find the youthful and amiable legislator personally on ground to see to a proper hosting of this historic event.
Traditional rulers, religious leaders past and serving political holders, APC Ikeja party leaders and other party members were all on ground, underscoring the acceptance, popularity and achievements of Hon. Adedamila Richard Kasunmu in the CONSTITUENCY.
Proceedings kicked off with the opening address by the Chairman Ikaja Local Government, Alhaji Dahir Adeogun who asked Nigerians to appreciate the gains of the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu le APC Federal Government in just two years in Office. He likened the pains Nigerians are presently experiencing to the travails of a pregnant woman who is sure of the gain of a new child or the labours of a farmer before harvest. He pointed out that despite the perceived hardship, Nigerians are already reaping the benefits of the renewed hope agenda as seen in the areas of improved healthcare services, relative stability and improvement in the education sector hallmarked by the students loan scheme and the improvement in the availability of petroleum products with fuel scarcity becoming a thing of the past.
Next on the podium was Alhaja Stella Kokumo, the APC Ikeja Federal CONSTITUENCY Chairperson. The erudite matriarch declared that Nigerians will do themselves good to appreciate the genuine love President Tinubu has for Nigerians that is motivating him to come up with policies and actions aimed at solving long standing economic hardship Nigerians have been enduring for decades. She urged CONSTITUENTS to engagege in massive mobilisation of new members and registration of new voters to ensure that Ikeja Federal CONSTITUENCY, the home CONSTITUENCY of the President produce a large numbers of votes for the President and all APC Political candidates in the 2027 General Elections.
The host of the event, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu then took to the stage starting with soul touching Thanksgiving to the Almighty God who has kept him alive and ensured his continuous success and achievements in the last ten years as the Honorable Member representing IKEJA State CONSTITUENCY 11 in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
In his words; ” many of us who started together ten years ago are no longer alive. Ten years is not a short time but we thank God we are still here today. He then took time out to appreciate the leaders of the party APC in IKEJA, especially Alhaji Dahir Adeogun and Alhaja Stella Kokumo whom he discribed as his political nursemaids after he got the reluctant nod of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the late Madam Kemi Nelson to via to represent the good people of IKEJA STATE CONSTITUENCY 11. He declared that against the suggestions in some quarters that he was imposed on the CONSTITUENCY, he said despite being a bonifide son of Asiwaju, both Tinubu and Kemi Nelson where reluctant to give him the nod before the handed him over to Kokumo and Adeogun the leaders of the IKEJA progressives who guided and are still guiding him today. He also gave kudos to Hon. James Abiodun Faleke whom he discribed as a supporting father for his guidance and support.
Coming to the theme of the event, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu gave kudos to Gov. Sanwo Olu of Lagos State and the Lagos State House of Assembly led by the Rt. Honourable Mudashiru Obasa for striving relentlessly to replicate the policies of the Tinubu led Federal Government in Lagos State and ensure their full benefits and impacts on the residents and good people of Lagos State
He listed the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda in the areas of massive investments in Agriculture that is now positioning Nigeria on the path of food sufficiency . Improvement in the healthcare sector, improvement in security, investment in human capital through various interventions and empowerment programs for vulnerable Nigerians through the office of the First Lady Senator Olureni Tinubu and other relevant government agencies. Improvement in the Education sector and the gradual reduction of the prices of food and other essential commodities
CONSTITUENTS took time out to appreciate the legislator for making good his electoral promises to the CONSTITUENCY in the areas of infrastructure, youth empowerment, care for the elderly, women, people with disabilities and all inclusive representation .
